Foreign property investors looking to capitalise on the success of the Brazilian real estate market need to act quickly, one expert has advised.
Commenting recently, Glauco Chris Fuzinatto, director of UK and Ireland for the Brazilian Tourist Office, said that while the market is approaching maturity, there are still attractive deals on foreign mortgages to be had in areas such as the north-east of the country.
For those that are considering buying property in Brazil, Mr Fuzinatto recommended getting in touch with the country's chamber of commerce, which can offer support and advice during the process.
He added that the Brazilian market may be particularly attractive to British buyers who have seen the value of the pound perish in recent foreign exchange trading sessions.
"Although the pound is quite bad wherever you go, it's particularly bad with the euro and US dollars. Brazil is still cheap, you can still get a good meal and it is quite cheap," he concluded.
