Published by Zeb BhamCost-conscious holidaymakers may want to consider a winter ski trip, as the market will offer exceptional value, outstanding service and security, one tour operator claimed.Following the release of the latest Crystal Ski Industry Report, the company's managing director Matthew Prior said the market will continue to be price-sensitive this year and will focus on developing affordable ski packages."There is strong evidence of ski companies increasing the numbers of properties for next winter leading to more holidays on offer," he said. While a European ski trip may be of interest to British travellers looking to take advantage of stronger exchange rates on holiday money, Mr Prior warned that cost will still be a key concern for many European travellers.According to the latest Crystal report, the ski market fell by 11 per cent across all sectors last year, although Austria and Italy outperformed to achieve overall growth during the season. For competitive rates and commission free travel money, visit our Travel FX site
