Foreign currency buyers 'could consider French home'

The magazine's annual index found France to have the best quality of life, topping the results table for the fifth year running.
While the magazine did point out some of the downsides with French living, such as "tiresome bureaucracy and high taxes", these points are outweighed by the overall quality of life, it said.
Other countries to perform well in the index include Australia, Switzerland, Germany and New Zealand.
In determining the quality of life, International Living considered a number of factors including the cost of living, environment, economy, culture and leisure, and climate.
The cost of living and economy are most heavily weighted in the survey, each accounting for 15 per cent of the final ranking.
Those who are considering a move abroad should remember to not only research their chosen destination, but also the best exchange rates on foreign currencies so that money can be transferred at the best rate.
