Springfield Footbal Club
This coming season sees Springfield FC running 14 juniors teams, 5 mini soccer teams and 9 junior teams
representing most age groups up to Under 18. All teams play in the Chelmsford Youth Football League or
Blackwater & Dengie Youth League and every single one of them are a part of the club.
At ages Under 8, 9 and 10, the kids play mini-soccer which is a seven-a-side competition with the emphasis on
learning ball skills and how to play the game. Going into the full eleven a side game, Springfield have one or
more teams from Under 10 through to Under 18.
In addition, they run a reception group for boys and girls who are too young to take part in matches but who
wish to take part in training sessions and learn about the game.
They try hard to provide football to those who want to play. They encourage football for children of all ages
and abilities. Football is a great way to make new friends, learn to work as a team and basically have fun.
Global Reach Partners will be sponsoring the newly formed Under 11’s team this season it is their first full
season of competitive football and they will be coached with winning mentality. Supporting and nurturing young,
aspiring talent is a regular part of our company culture and history.
